was travelling to work one day when outside the Sydney train station he was approached by a giant kangaroo promoting a new product by Kangaroo Pty Ltd. John was given a small bottle of drink to taste and try. The label on the bottle said: "Kangaroo's 100% Australian Orange Juice - a Taste of the Sun Ingredients:100% orange juice" John drinks the juice and enjoys it so much that he immediately goes online, and buys a box containing 10 x 1 litre bottles from the Kangaroo Pty Ltd website. The bottles have the same label as the bottle given to him earlier that day. 2 days later the box arrives just in time for breakfast. John excitedly opens the 1 litre bottle and pours himself a glass, but John notices that it tastes different to the small bottle the kangaroo gave him, so he checks and finds that it has a slightly different wording on the label that reads: "Kangaroo's 100% Australian Orange Juice - a Taste of the Sun Ingredients: (made from imported and Australia ingredients): 70% orange juice and 30% pineapple juice"
Advise John whether Kangaroo Pty Ltd has breached the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Schedule 2 of theCompetition and Consumer Act 2010(Cth), with regard to any consumer guarantees.(5 Marks) Type your answer in the space below.
