Watch the news on TV or find news on the internet. This can be national, state, or local news. Please look at the news objectively (Don't state if you are pro an issue or in favor of a political stance or not). This discussion board is not about your beliefs, but rather how the news or politicians may intentionally or unintentionally present info. Summarize the news event and how it was presented include where, when, what, and who. Look for th ree different examples of any of the following: belief perseverance, misinformation effect, overconfidence phenomenon, confirmation bias, heuristics (all of them!), illusory thinking, and attributions. Be sure to support and explain your answers.
