Employees often work in teams to create marketing campaigns, develop new products or fine-tune services, yet rarely does everyone in a group contribute equally to the final product. This same issue can arise on any team, including students completing group work. Assume you are on a team of five students working on a project for your Ethics course. Your objective is to research a company and report on its business practices in a 30 minute presentation. You and two of your team members get to work, but the other two team members have missed a deadline, and are consistently late to meetings. You are now behind schedule. Also, the work they produce is not to your expectations. These three members of your five-person team feel they are doing most of the work on the project.
