Watch two videos, "The Difference Between Winning and Succeeding" with John Wooden and "The Power of Team" with Shawn Stratton. In the first video, Wooden (2009) describes how he led teams of athletes using his philosophy of success. In the second video, Stratton (2012) provides an example of team excellence. After viewing both videos, respond to the following questions:

1. Summarize the key points of each video.
2. How many characteristics of team excellence could be identified in the team example provided by Stratton?
3. What leadership actions did Wooden incorporate in leading his team to success?
4. Compare and contrast the mental models (how they viewed the situation) of both team leaders to analyze team performance and leadership action.
5. Would you want to be a team member led by Wooden and/or Stratton? Why or why not?
