Water at a rate of 648m3hr and at 30C(density =1000kgm3, viscosity =1.0110-6Pa*s) is delivered to a closed tank B (216.5kPa) at a higher elevation by using a pump as shown in Figure 1. Both tanks are large in size where the pressure in tank A is given as 132.2kPa. The pipe in used is made from galvanized steel with a diameter of 250mm. The description of both suction and delivery line are shown in Table 1.
