Calculate the velocities in Pipes 1 and 2 and the discharge Q (m3/s), assuming initial friction factors of 21 = 0.025 and 2.2 = 0.022 and ignoring shock losses. Do one iteration to find improved values of V1, V2, and Q. i.e. after calculating V1, V2, and Q using the assumed values, calculate Reynold's number and use Moody's diagram, (see overleaf) to obtain revised 2.
