We are going to design a desorber to remove CO2, the CO2 comes from an effluent solution of 4 m3/h and we want to reduce the concentration of CO2 to 1.5 kg/m3 at 0.02 mol/m3 by stripping with air in a packed stripping column operating at 20 and 1 bar.

The CO2 contained in the air is 0.03% volume and we want it to come out with a concentration that does not exceed 1% volume, random packages of 35 mm plastic pal rings are used.

Column diameter=0.32 m Slope of the Equilibrium Curve=1440

Perform the material balances and obtain the fractions at the entrance and exit of the column.
