We can look at ethics from two perspectives. What does "ethics" mean to you as a person? "What my feelings tell me is right and wrong" "Ethics has to do with my religious beliefs" "Doing what the law requires" "Behaving according to societal norms" Then we can think of what we call "business ethics". The implementation of proper business policies and practices regarding potentially controversial issues, such as corporate governance, insider trading, bribery, discrimination, corporate social responsibility and fiduciary responsibilities. Business ethics are often guided by law, while other times provide a basic framework that businesses may choose to follow in order to gain public acceptance. Post your response to the following discussion question. Based on a decision made in your workplace, what were the moral and legal implications of that decision? If a decision is legal, is it ethical? Limit your response to 150 to 300 words, demonstrate understanding of and cite the required readings or other credible sources that you apply, and look for opportunities to engage with and learn from others.
