We could spend a whole week talking about this case, let's focus on these points: What was wrong with their compensation policies, and why did it lead to this mess? Are there any other (informal) systems that could have counteracted the ill-designed compensation policies? That is, in a different company these same compensation policies might not have been so grossly abused, what else went wrong at Wells Fargo? In case someone out there still watches TV commercials, what has Wells Fargo done to repair their image? Why will/won't this work
