For this assignment, I want you to find a species in the animal kingdom that does not strictly adhere to two biological sexes. Tell me: 1. What that species is. 2. What makes their biological sex "not binary" (Do they switch sexes in their life span? Do the males in the species get pregnant? What stands out to you about this species?) 3. How does learning about this species shape your understanding of gender as a social construct vs. biological sex? 4. Cite your source! 5. Comment on two other posts from classmates.
