We discussed ESG related issues as they impact current portfolio management in our class sessions. Conceptually, what must happen to the investment opportunity set as assets are excluded? Related, many recent studies find that ESG focused investments improve a portfolio's performance. Critically assess these two statements along with your view regarding the role of ESG in an investor's portfolio choices.
