We have a Pizza Company (fictitious) as a Case Study that is designed to walk a person through setting up basic journal entries based on a narrative that is set up, setting up basic financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows, and setting up a requirement for financial statement analysis. A key feature of the project is that it requires your team to identify and obtain the relevant information, and synthesize it into a Case Study. Please see attached PowerPoint presentation as an example.

1. Business Overview and Strategy: Briefly describe the company, its Mission, Vision, location and products, give a little bit about it 's industry, and discuss its strategy for success. Refer especially to business description and risk factors of your company.

2. Journal Entry Section: Set up 8 scenarios (word problems) that will result in basic journal entries such as putting money into the business. Design an Excel spreadsheet to have the student input into for the journal entries. Also prepare an Excel solution for this section and mark it "Solution JE".

3. Financial Statements: Set up the Narrative in PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheet to walk the beginning Accounting Student into preparing the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.

4. Financial Analysis: Set up the Narrative in PowerPoint and Excel spreadsheet to walk the beginning Accounting Student into preparing the a financial statement analysis with 5 ratios.
