But if we are independent contractor not the case.You hire me to do some tax planning and excel work for you and I charge you a $1,000....I'm not your employee I'm independent....

BUT now as an independent contractor what are my tax obligations?And as important what are the tax implications for the person that has hired me?

And then the gamesmanship.....what do employers do that is NOT on the up & up, and thus what is per the IRS the legal definition of who is an employee or a defacto employee?
