We represent Rona Dixon, the widow of Matthew Dixon. Mary Cartier, the sister of Thomas Dixon and personal representative of his estate, submitted a Will for probate signed by the late Mr. Dixon (who passed away October 20, 2019).

The first half of the Will is in the handwriting of Mr. Dixon. The second half of the Will is typewritten.It was typed by the next door neighbor, Ethan Allen.Mr. Allen said Mr. Dixon asked him (Mr. Allen) to finish the Will because he (Mr. Dixon) was too weak to continue writing it.

There are no subscribing witnesses to the Will, but it includes a self-proving affidavit.The self-proving affidavit meets the requirements of the state statute.

Is the Will admissible to probate under Texas law.
