We should stay out of wars with other countries unless the country is directly attacking the US or assets of the US we should also cut back our spending for countries that have no direct benefit for the US. The US should also relook at some of the treaties we have been involved in for generations, and revisit the terms countries have benefited from the relationship but have not held up their end of the bargain. Many of the NATO countries have failed to pay their share of money for the sustainment of NATO but have had US military assets deployed int their countries to offset their lack of preparation. Other countries like Turkey have taken millions of dollars in military and financial support but actively work against US interests. The US should stop supporting countries that work against Us interest and start looking US for US citizens first
