We study the relation between the unemployment rate (measured in percentage) and inflation (mesured in percentage points). We obtained the following regression results unemployment = 3.31 + 0.378inflation (0.483) (0.2817) where unemployment is the variable measuring the unemployment rate, inflation is the variable measuring the inflation rate (standard deviations of OLS estimates in parenthesis). The inflation rate have a significant effect on the unmployment rate at the 8.88%. True False
