We use the term visionary in the sense that the actions of some leaders have disrupted the status quo and have shaped the terrain of their engagement very dramatically. Some of you might feel that their contributions have been useful for society; some might consider that they have changed the world. I leave the judgment of what they did to you.

Select one of the visionaries in our readings, or maybe another well-known figure from business, government, religion, sports, etc. and reflect upon their contribution. How would you describe their leadership style? How would you describe their personalities, risk taking and judgment? What do you think separated them out?
