We want to know if participation in an after school program will lead to higher reading scores for fourth graders. Furthermore, we want to see if these advantages depend on socioeconomic status. We recruit three random groups of children from low, middle, and high income families. Half the children in each group spend one hour in our program each day, and the other half participate in a free play session. Which test would we use to analyze our results.
