WebGL Assignment 1

Drawing a 3D letter and 3D shape

(This this assignment you cannot use any WebGL fonts, the point is for you to come up with the vertices yourself)

1. For this assignment, you will choose one capital letter and one number. (If you choose 1 it must have the bottom and top portion (It cant be just a straight line.)
2. You will then create a set of vertices to make the said Letter and Number in 3D. (Think block letters).
   1. Initially, when you come up with the vertices have the letter facing the camera with a depth of .2
3. Now you must rotate the letter and number around the y-axis by -30 degrees. Therefore, you will have to change the x and the z values based on trig.
   1. You may do this in JavaScript
   2. You may do this in the Shader.
   3. Just make sure the letters are slightly rotated.
4. The front, sides, and back should have three different colors.
   1. (Although you will not see the back)
5. Make sure you draw both the letter AND the number on the screen.
