WeCar is a service available to the campus community. WeCar has number of cars available for rent by members of ASU community. As stated by the company representative, "We offer two different rental periods," Bolin said. "Our rate is $8 per hour to rent the car, and we offer a 'date-night' deal for $35 from 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. the following morning. All of our rates include price of fuel and insurance for the vehicle." A customer planning to avail of the service must register for membership via the WeCar web site. Once a customer has been authorized for membership, they obtain an electronic key to access to a vehicle which they have reserved through the company's website. The cars are garaged at multiple locations on campus. After use, renters must return their cars to the respective garage from where they picked up the car.
