Past Assignment 1 :
You must create abrief movie that provides an in-depth analysis and overview of a single subject relevant to the literature on open innovation. The course coordinator will present a list of these important ideas after Week 1, and you must select one.
Past assignment 2:
You must critically examine open innovation initiatives in a case study organisation with a project team of 4-6 individuals, and you must create recommendations that will help open innovation be implemented successfully in that industry. You must give an oral presentation (maximum 15 minutes) that is backed by a digital presentation (such as Power Point, Canva, or Prezi). The executive team of the case study organisation is the intended audience.
You may utilise the Critical reflection template (DIEP), but in general, you might think about using the framework listed below for your self-reflection report. Keep in mind that it should have TWO independent parts, namely: 1) your own learning from the course; and 2) the experience of working as a team.
1. Introduction:
Introduce the report in this part. Give a brief description of what you'll be reflecting on. It may be your performance on a particular assignment, your course experience, a particular lecture style, a presentation by a guest speaker, or your semester's worth of learning. The scene is therefore prepared for what comes next.
2. a) Description of Experience:
Describe the experience you are thinking about here. It may be a particular incident, a project, or your overall course experience. Include specifics on what you did, the difficulties you encountered, and the results you got.
B) Reflection on the Experience:
This is the core of your report. Reflect on the experience by answering questions such as:
- What did you learn from this experience?
- How did it affect you?
- What was surprising?
- What went well and what could have been done differently?
- How have these experiences shaped your understanding of the concepts of the course?
C) Analysis and Critical Thinking:
Analyse your course experiences and behaviour. To complement your analysis, make use of the theoretical concepts covered in the course readings. Think back on the theory you used in practise. This demonstrates your capacity for critical reflection on your choices and knowledge.
D) Personal Development and Future Learning:
Discuss what the experience has taught you in terms of personal and academic development. Answer questions such as:
- How have you grown from this experience?
- What skills have you developed or improved?
- How will this experience influence your future behavior, decisions, or actions?
- What steps will you take to further improve these skills and knowledge?
3 Learnings from group work
A) Description of Experience
B) Reflection on the Experience
C) Analysis and Critical Thinking
D) Personal Development and Future Learning
Conclusion:
Summarize the key points from your reflection. What were your main takeaways? How has this reflection process been beneficial for your learning and growth?
