Do you believe it is the short-term reward of maximum profit in the short term? Are these immoral, unethical leaders so focused on the shine of money that they can't see 5, 10, or 15 years into the future at their own demise? We know that ethical leadership with a strong moral code leads to sustainable results over time. Just trying to rationalize why companies would keep going on for so long taking advantage of people. I suppose only waiting to get into trouble.
