Week 8 Assignment- UML Activity Diagram with Swim Lanes By Vindya Patabandige Wijeweera UMUC The UML activity diagram displays an alcohol distribution to be processed for a self-owned company located in Japan. The company has an ad hoc "as is" process which is a partly manual inventory that maintains other essential business components but requires consistent supervision. The new system to be implemented aims to enhance efficiency preparing businesses for future expansion and utilization of cloud computing and blockchain technology. Primarily the system is composed of four stakeholders including customers represented by bars, restaurants, and selected distributors to the local community in Japan, the organization serving as the core distributor, a shipping representative agent, and a manufacturer located in Sri Lanka. On the other side, the system design allows the distributor to successfully manage relationships with all stakeholders in the supply chain. The activity diagram starts with a purchase order placed by the customer which initiates the whole process of the system. For the purchase inquiry, possible outcomes include product availability for sale and insufficient stock in the inventory for order completion highlighted by the blue arrow. After goods delivery, the depleted status for the inventory is initiated by low
