1. Summarize in 1-2 sentences one substantive point made by one of our guest speakers this week that struck you as interesting, relevant, timely, surprising or otherwise is worth noting to the class.

2. Provide one paragraph of analysis on the subject matter of your point in question 1 above. Consider any of the following questions or take the analysis in any direction you feel appropriate in your analysis, for example, you may examine how is it relevant to the employment law issues we have discussed this semester, whether you agree or disagree with a point made, something that surprised you or further made complex issues even more ambiguous, etc.

Note the goal here is to learn from a source and apply the learnings to issues we discussed this semester. In answering these questions, please consider the readings which have been assigned, class discussions, the Powerpoint presentations used during this semester, and any other materials or public information which may be relevant. Once again, this is an open ended assignment intended to stimulate discussion in our forum. Please make sure your analysis focuses on a point from one of our guest speakers (or if you think appropriate, linked points between our speakers) and not on any comments I have made - my goal here is to have you watch and learn from others (you have heard enough of my thoughts already).

3. I would recommend a careful approach with respect to XXX particularly if YYY...
