Welcome to our first week of class. During this week, you will become very familiar with the general role of a supervisor. Not all supervisors are effective. Perhaps they never took this course or really thought about the importance of effective supervision and the impact supervision has on the organization. As you read and complete the assignments for the week, think about the qualities of an effective supervisor, what it means to be effective, and the challenges of being a supervisor.
