Well, I'm in my car and started driving to get the kids from preschool. I got off work about 6:15 and school pick up is across town before 7:00. I left work but rush hour traffic is pretty bad. I was afraid that I'd be late because I was late last week and got a hard time from the teacher. So, I decided to take a shortcut through the neighborhood near Pasternak as you know, that's a bad neighborhood. After turning onto the side street, I was distracted, I think it was almost 7 and I still had a way to go. I was not really thinking about where I was. Stop at a red light on Pederson at Pasternak Blvd. I feel a jolt like someone hit me from behind. I start to get out of my car and suddenly this guy comes out of nowhere. Grabs me, pulls me out of the car, jumps in, and drives it away. Things happened really fast. I didn't get a good look at him, that's pretty much everything.
