The University operates 6 three story walk up buildings that house offices on the first floor of each building and classrooms above. WCU received a resume from Jane Doe seeking a Professor position in the Business Department. Jane was a UCLA graduate who received her Masters in Business Administration at Stanford. Jane was recently honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corp. After discussing the application with the President of WCU, Jane was promptly offered the position. Jane, who lived in Texas, was processed "long distance" and was hired as a Professor. Jane relocated to California. Jane arrived at WCU ready to begin her new teaching assignment. Jane was a disabled veteran who had lost her sight and was wheelchair bound as a result of injuries sustained in Afghanistan. She also required the use of a guide dog.
