What are good responses back to each of these sentences with numbers?

1. The most surprising thing I learned is that "Just Like Heaven", by The Cure was most popular in the 80's. I've never heard it before and decided to listen. It's not a song or band I can relate to, but I found that the YouTube video had been watched over 90 million times, therefore a favorite amongst many. The least surprising thing I learned is that musical preference is developed in the teen years and that music from that time in one's life will take you back to past memories. I totally agree and can relate because I also have times when I reminisce, when listening to certain music from my early teen years.
2. I can't say that I had one favorite artist, but in my teens, I loved listening to SWV, Mary J Blige, Whitney Houston. My favorite genre is R&B, but I also love gospel. I'll always love the music I listened to during those years because it's kind of stuck with me.
3. My teens helped shape and define who I am today. I was learning about myself and music helped me to express myself and emotions. I've always been around music and enjoyed from a young child, listening to records played by my mother and grandmother. I really started listening to music of my own when I was around 11, when my mother bought me a boombox with CD player for Christmas. I would sit in my room with the music playing and helped take me away from the real world.
4. In speaking with older adults, I've learned that music they listening to when they were younger played a significant role in their lives and its music they stand by and still enjoy today.I believe what they shared supports the notion that someone's lifelong musical taste is discovered during adolescence.
5. I believe musical styles for older generations are very different than the music today. I think most older people are set in their ways and they like what they like. Some can't jump on the train of change, in getting used to different things. The newer music has different lyrics and beats than what they are familiar with. If it's not something they're accustomed to, they don't like it. But I can understand this because music styles have changed so much since I was a teen.
