What are people willing to do to save the environment?

The reality of this question is that the answers are all around. Plastic, plastic, plastic! It's everywhere and it needs to go. But I hear that nature has found a way! I read recently that microorganisms are now eating all the plastic that didn't end up in a whale's belly.

Speaking of which...what can be done to clean up our oceans! Think about where that plastic Bic lighter is going to end up. (I hate those so much). What ever happened to matches?

What about air pollution? Is the answer the electric vehicle? Would any of you consider ditching your vehicles all together and riding public transport? That's what I do! I haven't owned a car in years.
