What are the racial profiling, Black communities struggles, Indigenous land rights, and gender inequality in the legal field to try and understand the complex relationships between the legal system and other social groups.

In addition to pointing out differences, the article looks at the legal, cultural, and historical foundations that support the advantage-disadvantage dynamic.
