What are your thoughts of being an integral member and leader within a smaller healthcare team and the responsibilities that are inherent with this? It can be interesting, that's for sure.

Another question to the class...we are living and working in very interesting and challenging times where attracting and retaining clinical support staff has become overwhelmingly difficult. We see more and more clinics working with skeleton crews and those crews being overwhelmed. What are some things that we can do to protect ourselves with other potential resulting liabilities such as delayed test results, delayed patient care, and perhaps employees taking shortcuts in an attempt to reduce their endless workflows?! Thoughts?
