what are your thoughts on this post Bases on this week's topic I learned that sustainable supply chain management is a lot more to it than I thought. The supply chain and distribution are not what the company is selling but the process of how the products gets worked on how the workers are treated through the process. For example, Starbucks tries to connect with the delivery team is what makes it happen. In the Starbucks video they mention that they work closely with not just the manufactures for the coffee but work closely with the ones that deal with the napkins, tea, cups, etc. This shows that company's do care about where the products are coming from and not just the value of the product. The value chain helps companies figure out where their biggest impact is. I didn't know that the highest level of the executives is involved in the decision of where their products come from
