It is stated that goals are only useful to the extent that you are motivated to achieve them. In setting motivational goals, when using SMART the following steps should be followed: a) Assign Specific goals b) Assign Measurable goals c) Assign challenging, but Achievable goals d) Assure the goal is Realistic e) Assure the goal is Timely Assume you are the manager of the electronics department (TV's) at Tepperman's a local company encompassing five stores regionally. The company is known as a furniture, appliance and television retailer. The management has given you the specific goal of increasing your sales of TV's by 15% through your commissioned sales force during the next four week selling period. This happens to coincide just four weeks prior to Super Bowl weekend. The goal was conceived by Mr. Tepperman himself, who committed to increased advertising during the sales period. He also pledged a bonus to all department managers, distributed among the teams, if the 15% sales increase is achieved. In point form (be very specific) detail how you would motivate your sales force based on the above scenario using Management by Objectives (MBO)
