1) The two decision making models are Rational and Intuitive. In Rational Decision making you have a very specific system and how you come to a conclusion. Intuitive Decision making is when you go on a whim, a gut feeling. No real thought process goes into. The similarities would be, you are using what knowledge and information you have on a subject to help with your decision. In both instances you are making an educated guess. But in one it takes you a bit longer to get to the result.

I would use the Intuitive Decision-Making model. Both candidates bring something to the table. They both should be put in the position to help lead. Myra has extensive knowledge and a long-standing background with the company. She knows what SNHU Pet Supply is looking for. She may not be updated on the current online platforms they are using, but with the right support, she can grow into a formidable leader. Michael has worked hard to get where he is at through higher education and applying himself in the field. He has a huge upside. He needs some guidance to help him understand the SNHU Pet Supply's mission and their goals. Myra can give Michael the tools he needs to lead from the position he is in. Michael can give Myra the tools she needs as well. The pair together could take this company to heights it never known possible. Allow them to lead as a team and watch them grow as leaders.

2) The two decision making models I would use would be intuitive and rational. I would compare each of their backgrounds and see that Myra has been a valued employee for 15 years and has worked her way up from an intern while Michael shows promise he has only been with the company for 6 months. Myra has extensive knowledge about our company's products and services and knows our vison and company values. Michael has no past experience in pet supplies or companies like ours. Then I would look at the fact that Michael has a lot of knowledge about technology and would easily be able to do a position without any hesitation, but I would also take into consideration that even though Myra has no current knowledge of e commerce her past performance for us has shown us that she is a fast learner and is dedicated to working her way up to the top. Being that this position doesn't require in depth knowledge of technologies I have faith that Myra would be able to quickly and efficiently learn what she would need to know technology wise to do a position just fine. Her knowledge of our products and her loyalty cannot be ignored, Michael may be more tech savvy, but she has earned this position and her past experience makes her a better fit.
