What Can I say back to reply to my peer to add to the conversation I don't think that quality improvement should be held to the same ROI criteria as traditional capital investments. I think their needs to be a different ROI criterion in place when it comes down to quality. For some reason this makes me want to think of a project that the unit I work for received a grant for us to expand which will improve the overall quality of the environment for our patients allowing for them to have more places to go within the unit and not be so limited. This would also allow for us staff to have an expanded working environment. This expansion would also allow for us to take on more patients however we have a hiccup that is negating the expansion which is we do not have enough providers to allow for us to expand our unit we only have one dedicated provider for our patients
