In a TCF study US schools are underfunded by 150 Billion annually. When we see underfunded schools, the children are given suboptimal education opportunities. Worse teacher quality, worse technology and lessons, and even higher class density. Our education is the frontline of building the future of the United States. We already are facing a risk of an underpopulation issue, we need to make every worker as high skill as possible in order to keep our GDP high. When we have high skill workers, we have better quality products, more efficient production, better technologies, and the list goes on and on. These all feed back into our economy for a healthier country overall. People are happier, have better incomes, more consumption and feeds back into the system. These changes would take time to see effects, which may make it harder to get it passed, but I believe for the good of our future it would be very beneficial.
