What defines your identity? Is it important to you to have a clearly defined personal identity?Have you ever been influenced by others to do something that goes against who really are?Have you ever been in a situation where others made wrong assumptions about your identiy based on your appearance? Write your thoughts inone paragraph in response (7--10 sentences) then respond this 3 people
1, My personal identity is following my beliefs. It is super important to have a clear personal identity so that you could truly know who you are and not get driven by other people who may have a stronger identity than you, so in which they would push you around as i stated. No I have been driven in the past by bad friends before but i didn't do bad things in which was against my personal beliefs , but I then at high school i started realizing that I should have my own identity in which i did and I am glad that i changed. Yes , at the first day of school , to be exact , in my school bus the boys in the bus thought that I had an enormous ego , but that changed when they truly knew who I am .
2, The one thing that defines my identity is how I follow my beliefs. All of my choices are based on my belief. I believe what I choose, and the path that I am walking on. Belief is important and navigates me into someone I want to be in my life. Without my belief, I may not have confidence and have no faith to persevere what I pursue on. Although belief sometimes causes many obstacles in my life, different individuals have different beliefs. For Instance, I went to University because my parents wanted it, but I dropped out because I did not see a future after graduation. I believe I will be successful without a certificate. In another case, when I have a strong belief and take too many risks, people think I am a daredevil. Those things sometimes make me feel guilty about myself, but not all the time. Not everybody experiences exactly the same beliefs.
3, following my belief defines my personal identity. I think it's important to have a clearlydefined personal identity. because we can express ourselves. if all people have same personality or background that will be boring. and I think that people having each own special identity makes each of us wonderful. I've never been influenced by others to do something that goes against who I really am. I always follow my belief. I'm half black. and some people ask me, doI smoke weed? do I have a gun? do I sell drugs? has my dad been to jail? in this country and Japan. I think that'sbecause of the media and their lack of common sense.
