However, this is not the case for most state or federal courts, "...both state and federal courts remain relatively homogenous and elitist. (pg. 196) Most judges are white males who come from affluent families. It is hard to find a fair court when the judges don't represent the general population. Once we start electing and appointing judges who are a true reflection of a population, only then will the court be impartial..."
