What do you think? What would you have done if you had the opportunity to decide? Would you have executed the Nazi leaders without a fair trial, or would you have granted them the possibility to defend themselves and risk the possibility of the defendants being acquitted?

Do you think that human rights are universal and inalienable and, therefore, that there are rights, such as the one to a fair trial, that a person cannot lose by the way he/she acts?

Or, instead, do you believe that human rights are somehow conditional, that some acts, as those listed in the definition of crimes against humanity, put the culprit outside of the protection recognized to all people by IHL?
