WHAT does "consent" mean with regard to human sexual activity? Is consent implied, meaning that if a participant (usually female) does not specifically say "Yes, I want to have sex with you," she gives consent by her silence? If a female gives consent verbally, can she later withdraw it by saying "stop" or "no?" We are NOT discussing the legal meaning of consent, we are discussing the behaviour of both participants.
