I know many of you travel by air so you might have opinions on the following topic. The week of March 24, 2008 A federal court threw out recent New York State laws that require airlines to provide food, water, and clean toilets to travelers if they are delayed aboard an aircraft for more than three hours. On Tuesday, March 25th the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals found that the Airline Deregulation Act pre-empts states from regulating activities of the nation's air carriers.
