What impact do you think AI and automation will have on accounting?

Exercise 1 After the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, Asheville Company's executive committee held a meeting to set-up the 2021 strategy, in which they forecasted the sales and the related expenses, in order to recover from the economic downturn. Looking at the company's books on December 31, 2020 - the finished goods inventory accounted for 72,000 units. The committee is forecasting to sell 2,400,000 units in 2021. Considering the seasonality of its sales, the company expects to sell 15% of the units during the 1st quarter, 25% during the 2nd quarter, 15% during the 3rd quarter and 45% during the 4th quarter. The committee reviewed the available finished goods inventory for the end of 2020, and found that it constituted 20% of the expected sales for the first quarter of 2021, and informed the production manager that they will apply the same ratio for the next quarters, as it ensures business continuity. Finally, the committee decided to maintain the unit price unchanged for the first three quarters of 2021 at 50$, and increase it by 10% during the 4th quarter, considering a stable cost of 38$ per units. The sales for the first quarter of 2022 are expected to increase by 7% compared to the first quarter of 2021. As member of the executive committee, you have been requested to prepare the following
