Because of that, it is imperative that sales associates utilize their handheld devices/phones to accurately record current sales floor inventory numbers of goods. By ensuring those counts are correct, online orders do not go unfilled; customers maintain a positive level of experience satisifaction, and there is no lost sales revenue due to out-of-stock items. Additionally, with mailing permits, delivery costs and times are greatly reduced - which saves the company both money and customers.
