What is a good response back to each response with the numbers? Music that shaped me

1. The most surprising things that I discovered from the two texts was the older sister in the second article was not looking to prove the argument between her brother which focused on the importance of a particular song, but to analyze music as a whole and it's influences, generational influence as the key one. What's surprising is that her results didn't even prove and support her music taste today as it was much older music then when she was born. But, this does not mean her conclusion findings were wrong. Yes, most music from our teens and early twenty's bring back memories and are often our favorites which can be seen from the charts, but seeing the sister as an exception now we know other components play a key part in determining our music style today.

2. I was a Disney kid growing up so any new movies that had sing along musicals were the songs I remember the most and vividly felt like I was there. Teen Beach Movie, was filled with so much singing and till this day I can sing word for word any song played from that movie. I give credit to Disney films because they make the audience feel like a character in the movie, I'll always love those songs because of the way I felt while watching, I felt like a surfer riding the waves.

3. Teenage years is the period where your developing the most whether it's from puberty or from finding out who you are in life. So, many crucial moments and decisions happen throughout this timeline which are life determining. Which as we know is stressful and scary , this is when most teens listen to music to calm them or express their emotions. The emotions part of it is so important, because the music is what helps them get out of that dark time or bad situation meaning that song or songs shaped them out of it and currently shaping them into their identity.

4 My teacher discussed with me that she does not or even try to reach out with newer music because of how music "changed over the years". She goes on to explain how she only listens to old music or previous songs, I asked her to name a couple of them.CountryGrammar, Simple Kind Of Life, and Shape Of MyHeart are the songs she listed. The teacher is 35 currently so I decided to see at what age would she have listened to these songs which was when she was thirteen years old. A research article based on this study states this, "In other words, adults don't really get heavily into new music, which probably explains why all my mates are overgrown emos who still stan Gerard Way". This supports two ideas, that music listened from our teens is where we gather music taste from and that we often stay in this circlewithout venturing out.

5. From the two articles and additional research we can see data supporting the claims of heavy influence of music comes from teen years. So, say a person in their 60's listens to a recently popular song like Drivers licenseby Oliva Rodrigo, there would be no emotional feelings connected to it nor any likeness toward it. The music now days is more upbeat and revolved around love and social issues while music before as some would describe was "more real" or " "purposeful". I believe older people wouldn't feel any connection to the music and would make suggestions that are biased from their younger music taste to criticize current day music.
