what is a great response to a classmates post with a follow up question : Can poverty be eliminated in Canada? How? This video explains how Canada boasts that we are great leaders in human rights and prevent issues surrounding poverty and unemployment, however, the UN has proven that with all the shelters and people facing poverty in Canada, we in fact are not doing great. Canada has also been given a list of things we could do to fix said issues, yet still, nothing has been done to make any change. To eliminate poverty in Canada may seem unrealistic and like a hard task to accomplish, however, I believe that over time it can be resolved. The government also has a big impact on solving this issue, so the first place to start when eliminating poverty is with the list that the UN has provided them, hopefully reducing the number of issues Canada has concerning poverty
