what is thisThis has been a bit confusing for me but I think I might have somewhat of an understanding. For an example, I work in a behavioral health clinic. We can look at two groups, one group of children being treated for disorders with medication management and the other group of children being treated for disorders (some of the same) with therapy only. We can gather and count the number of children in our clinic that see our psychiatrist for med management and then do the same for the children seeing our psychologists for therapy only. We can take those numbers and compare them to see the similarities (if any), and see which group is greater; managing disorders with medication or with therapy. With the conclusion we form from this test, we can see for the children with the same disorders but being treated in different ways which one seems most effective. Of course, not all patients are going to respond to treatment the same so this could also be concluded as a test that is not entirely reliable but can give a general outlook of therapy responses. I don't understand it ?"
