What is wrong with each of the following attempts at motivation? For each of the situations below, explain what the supervisor has done incorrectly. Be sure to justify each of your answers using at least one of the motivational concepts or monetary incentives that were described in your text. Be sure to clearly identify them for each. Also, be sure you use paragraphs to separate them so I can tell what answers go with what answers. 1. A sales supervisor for an insurance company believes that employees appreciate an opportunity to broaden their experience, so she rewards the top performer each year with an all-expenses-paid leadership seminar. The seminar lasts a week and is conducted at a hotel in a city 200 miles away. 2. The supervisor of a hospital cafeteria awards one employee a $50 bonus each month. To give everyone an equal chance at receiving the bonus, the supervisor draws names written on slips of paper from a jar. 3. A maintenance supervisor in a pickle factory believes that qualified employees should be able to tell whether they are doing a good job. Therefore, the supervisor focuses motivation efforts on thinking up clever rewards to give out each year to the best performers
