My ideal career is bookkeeping. This career interests me because I keep track of all financial records and separate them by expenses for my business. The job posting I found is for a Full Charge Bookkeeper. This job requires performing aspects of bookkeeping such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, taxes, payroll processing for clients and a few other tasks. This relates to the course as it requires keeping journal entries and filing those for the business.

  • What key terms or experiences would you include in your resume, cover letter, or interview to showcase your relevant knowledge and skills related to the job posting?

Terms or experiences I would include on a resume or cover letter would be any experience with accounting, software knowledge such as Excel or QuickBooks, Data Analysis skills and Service Orientation. The job posting requires impeccable accuracy, analytical skills, communication and organizational skills. Monitoring, recording and paying bills is also a part of the job, requiring journal entries to be made for all transactions

The knowledge and skills I learned from the modules will help me in the future as I have expanded my knowledge in accounting and how to track and record sales and expenses.
