What is your opinion of this analysis of "cases from the real world, Overseas Manufacturing" ?

We as consumers can make need to be mindful of the products, we purchase and the company that produces these products. Companies should have ethical policies and procedures when it comes to manufacturing and distributing their products to be sold. I wouldn't feel comfortable purchasing from a company that I knowingly use child labor or unsafe working conditions to manufacture their products.

There should be a base level of what is expected of a business and how they should take care of their employees. When it comes to breaks, child labor laws, safety in the workplace, working conditions, and factors of that sort should be nearly universal. The only factor that I think would have different standards would be pay. Pay can vary based on location and how hard an occupation may be. I do believe everyone should make more than just a living wage, more than just enough to not starve.

I think companies should publicly display an accurate description on their website of how their products are manufactured. Nearly every brand/company has a website, so I think they should be required to make it public knowledge on how their products are manufactured that way the consumer can look for themself.
