What is your scenario?

Dineo and Bontle are best friends. Dineo is an orphan who works part-time to support herself and her younger brother. Bontle is a very good friend to Dineo - she often buys Dineo gifts and pays for her food and drinks when they go out at night. The friends are excited about being university students for the first time.

Bontle is excited to share her good news with Dineo: Bontle received an email informing her she received NSFAS funding for her studies! Dineo also received NSFAS funding for her studies.

Dineo knows Bontle received a payout funding her studies from a trust fund created by her grandfather years ago. She also knows Bontle's parents are earning more than the salary limit for qualifying for NSFAS funding.

Dineo asks Bontle how she managed to receive NSFAS funding, while she is clearly able to fund her own studies. Bontle replies she and her parents decided she would use the money received from her grandfather's trust fund to buy her a brand new Mini Cooper! Bontle explains her grandfather worked hard for his money. She and her family feel they should benefit from their ancestor's years of hard work. Thus, Bontle and her parents arranged with Bontle's unmarried aunt (her mother's sister) to use her documents and payslip as substantiating proof their household income was below the threshold for qualifying for NSFAS funding.
